I think weeds get a bad name. They are the beautiful non-conformists in my yard.

After the rain – butterfly
This one was a lucky catch. My wife was with me while I was clicking away and said Hey, Look! I managed to catch this shot and no others of this butterfly.

I took a few photos last weekend after a quick sun shower. I’ll share a few here with you and try to add useful commentary.
This first wild flower is actually growing on the edge of my yard. There is a random patch of them there. This photo is cropped down to about half the original size. I love how the background looks almost painted.
