I really did think this was a small hummingbird at first. Someone called it a snowberry clear wing hummingbird moth.

I think weeds get a bad name. They are the beautiful non-conformists in my yard.

Easy Being Green (at my house)
I wouldn’t say I cherish frogs but I will go out of my way to avoid squishing them. This little fellow has been hanging out around my house for the last month. It always seems strange to me when I find frogs and turtles by my house because we don’t live that close to water. There is a pond a few hundred yards away and the ditch stays wet but really.. why hang out at my porch.
