What’s Cooking?

As for site news.. Our hosts have moved us to new hardware. I’m still working out some bugs with that gallery. If I can’t get it to work maybe I’ll just switch to a flickr gallery.
Personal news… I started working out again. I can feel results. I’ve been lifting weights but I need to work in some endurance things and watch my diet yet.
Trophies
I spent a big chunk of Saturday watching the pinewood derby. Mostly taking photos of the kids after they raced. I didn’t get a chance to take as many race photos this year.
Thunderboy
For years now I have been kicking around a Thunderboy comic. I have some pencils just laying around waiting for me but I never seem to get to it. We’ll I’m taking another run at getting enough of these out to put together a short book. Here is a preview of a strip I’m working on.
New Flash
I had a $100 gift card for some work I did and decided to buy a camera flash. A co-worker of mine recommended the Yongnuo YN560 as a good cheap flash so I bought it and a couple of wireless remotes for the flash. I clearly have no idea what I’m doing yet but I’m having fun learning.
